    A common scenario for us is that a change is made to a custom object (e.g. adding a custom field) and the page layouts for that object.

    We have an org with hundreds of custom objects, so rather than having to compare all objects (which is slow) to then deploy changes to just one object, it would be nice if I could select the objects that I know have changed *before* the compare, to make the compare and deploy operation faster.
