An error occurred while saving the comment Justin Slagle commentedExperiencing the same thing - getting the following in comparisons, even though I don't have Person Account activated in the org:
<personAccountDefault>true</personAccountDefault>
Not sure what is causing this attribute to show up, but I'd love to know what the fix is for this.

Yes! This would make things so much cleaner.
Allow the "Simplify Differences" toggle to be defaulted to "On" for the entire comparison, not just on a file-by-file basis. Then, if the file has no discrepancies other than those, just omit it from that group altogether, and don't flag it as being different.
This would save so much time in having to sift through those files every time they come up.
