Make "Hide Reodering" global switch
Please add a feature to have globally selected "Hide Reordering" and also hide those files that have no changes after reordering from Changed Items?
Clicking that on every file to see that there are no real differences is time consuming and slow down the comparison process.
Scenario:
1. I am comparing two sandboxes develop with my private sandbox to align with changes made on develop.
2. I have comparison with many Global Value Sets, Custom fields which are Picklists, flows etc.
3. Most of them are not changed but are listed as changes. I need to click on each metadata then click Hide reordering to see that there are no changes.
As a user I want to:
Click once on top "Hide reordering in all files" which will reorder xmls in all files.
Click one on top "Hide files that are the same after reordering" so they disappear from the list.

Agreed - in my case, after doing a sandbox refresh many Custom Objects report a difference, even though it's just a difference in the ordering of <actionOverride> elements.

Yes! This would make things so much cleaner.
Allow the "Simplify Differences" toggle to be defaulted to "On" for the entire comparison, not just on a file-by-file basis. Then, if the file has no discrepancies other than those, just omit it from that group altogether, and don't flag it as being different.
This would save so much time in having to sift through those files every time they come up.

Agreed! I'd like to be able to rely on the comparisons to only show legitimate differences rather than having to memorize which specific metadata items are always there due only to reordering.
In fact, I'd prefer they be considered identical and suppressed completely, so that the CI jobs don't attempt to deploy them and they don't show in their historical comparisons.
