Enable source control as source/target in Data Deployments
It would be great if we could add source control as an option for Data Deployments, this will be useful in cases where we want to backup copies of CPQ record data which manage configurations to our source control repository.

There's another use case for this -- sometime in the future, hopefully, Gearset will enable scratch orgs to be created pre-populated with metadata AND test data. (see sfdx force:data:tree) If we can populate VCS with sample test data from a dev org then this enables the scratch orgs to be easily constructed fuly-formed and ready-to-go
