Add the ability to edit xml
I would like to have the possibility to edit XML files from the comparison view.

Certain migrations cannot be accomplished without manual modifications to the XML. For a large number of changes downloading the XML, editing, and importing from local files is a reasonable workflow. For smaller changes it is not efficient.
