My team and I find specific alerts more actionable than broad alerts. Right now, that means I need to create unique Monitoring jobs for the same environment and use the metadata filter to narrow down what each job focuses/alerts on. I wonder if there is a more scalable/efficient solution where I can take a single snapshot of an org but configure multiple alerts based on rules that filter specific details from the single snapshot.
To take filtering one step further, we'd love the ability to filter based on the actual returned data in the snapshot. For example, I may want to be alerted when a specific user makes a change to some metadata but not when others make a change to it. Or maybe I want to be alerted any time a new custom field is added but not when an existing custom field is updated or deleted.
Greater control over Monitoring Job filtering and alerting would allow us to get the right info to the right people with actionable next steps instead of generic alerts that spam everyone and get ignored.
