Org metadata snapshots
Allow a snapshot/backup of an org prior to running a deployment. Allow us to use this as a source of a new deployment if we want to revert any changes previously deployed, or at least download the package.

This feature is now available. You can take snapshots of your metadata on-demand via the Change Monitoring feature and download the zip file created.
Use the local files option when configuring your comparison.

We've now implemented the ability to take snapshots of your org's metadata on-demand.
This is done via the Change Monitoring feature and the ability to back up your metadata is enabled after a monitoring job runs for the first time.
You can then take snapshots of your metadata when you want to and download the snapshot of your metadata in a zip file.
Use the 'local files' option as the source when configuring your comparison in Gearset.
