Only show connected source types when starting comparison
When selecting the source or target environments the list currently shows me all connection types including those that I haven't connected. For example, I connected Salesforce orgs and a bitbucket account. When
I start a comparison or create a CI job, I can still select in the source/target type GitHub, AWS etc...
This is super annoying when setting this up for admins that are already confused by the change of process.
Hi Jannis,
On balance we believe that removing all other connections to the Git providers we support will harm discoverability for a larger number of people using Gearset so have decided not to change the current approach at this time.

Stephen

I'd like to bring this up again and to reconsider.
Seeing what connections are available to a customer is easily seen when setting up the connection in the "Source control and services" section which every user has to go through when starting out.
Continuing to show "all the options" on day-to-day user use is more of a hindrance than a reminder of what options a user has. I don't even register what the other options are as I'm focused on selecting what I know I have already connected. If a user has no connected services/source control, I think it is fine then to show all the options (to let them know the option). Once a user has a connected source control, showing them the options is not assisting them.
