Add Static Analysis Notifications
For org monitoring, we can get a notification on either every run, or when the org changes.
Could we also have the option to get notification when the number of static analysis problems increases?

Show test apex run in the deployment report
When we validate a deployment then schedule it for deployment. Once deployed we receive a report however the tests run do not show here and you have to back to the validated section to find them - please include the tests run on the final deployment report

One stop shopping for scratch org creation
Too many steps to get a scratch org usable for use - especially when compared to a CLI script.
If the model is VCS -> Scratch Org, then the following should be doable in one step:
1 - Create scratch org
2 - Populate scratch org with metadata in VCS
3 - Populate scratch org with SObject tree data from VCS (optional)By definition, the scratch org is empty so with a properly configured filter, the VCS metadata is implicitly all NEW and can be preselected checked
If the VCS contains multiple packages, then the pipeline config could identify which…

Allow users to hide or collapse the middle bar of the comparison screen
I have a small laptop monitor, so screen space is pretty valuable to me when working from home. It can be difficult to do code reviews from a laptop monitor because of the middle bar, which takes up a significant amount of real estate.
I rarely use any of the controls or information in that box. It would be great to be able to collapse or hide it to allow more space for the top panel (list of metadata components) and the bottom panel (selected metadata contents)

Searching for work item should allow for searching by ticket #
When searching for work items to associate to a deployment, user should be able to enter ticket IDs rather then key words from the Azure DevOps ticket title. This will make it easier to search larger backlogs.

Schedule multiple gearset deployments
Have the ability to schedule metadata deployments along with data deployments. As of now, you must deploy all metadata then move into data deployments. It would be great to schedule these items in some sort of task flow.

Add filters & search to the Salesforce orgs page
Add Filter/Search to the Salesforce Orgs page. On Deployment History you have a filter that is very handy when sorting through the list to find a specific deployment. I am currently trying to add multiple new dev Orgs for a client and it is hard to sort through them all. Can you add the Filter/Search option on the Orgs page?

Link to salesforce source records
When reviewing a Comparison with Salesforce as a source or target, include a link to the Setup/Configuration page that is being compared. For example, a link to a Page Layout that the user could click to jump right to the Layout in the appropriate Salesforce environment. There are times when we review Comparisions and need to see the source outside of Gearset and this gets the user there much faster.
The link would appear in the header of the Comparison window, near where "SOURCE" and "TARGET" are listed.

Monthly sandbox refresh from production
I would like the ability to refresh a sandbox from production on a scheduled recurring basis on a monthly cycle (ex: from prod to a full sandbox) so as not to overwrite current development items that are in process or testing.

Allow the use of cached metadata during comparisons
Over the past 2 days we ran multiple comparisons between salesforce orgs. Nothing was changed in the target org but some fixes were applied to the source org in order to make the deployment successful. A lot of time would be saved if we had the option to compare the source org to a cached copy of the target org. In this case, the source org was finishing very fast, especially when we used the local file comparison.

Combine multiple daily monitoring results into a single deployment
If you want to deploy the differences of an org on a weekly basis, it would be a great option to take the monitoring results of the last 7 days into a single deployment.
Especially in huge orgs, where comparism takes 30 minutes time to show up, this would ease deployment pretty much.2 votes -

Use the information in a JIRA ticket to select the components to deploy
Instead of manually selecting components to deploy. If we have an integration with JIRA and the components are listed on the JIRA ticket. Would it be possible to then specify JIRA tickets to deploy and have Gearset automatically build the deployment package?

Need to move Help Menu between orgs
I recently had to move custom Help Menu items between orgs. Since Gearset didn't support it, I was reduced to manually entering the data in each org since they weren't connected in Change Set paths. I believe the metadata is CustomHelpMenuSectio

create a visualization of the DevOps process
Creating a visualization of the DevOps process removes the need for separate Visio diagrams or visual aids to represent the process. Also by creating this feature, you could allow for a drag and drop type feeling to represent CI Jobs, Data Deployments, Comparisons, etc. Users who may be new to a DevOps environment would pick up the process quicker allowing them to quickly adapt to the tools and this type of deployment mentality.

Enhance capabilities around 'co-administration'
In our organization we have a couple different salesforce admins that are administrating the salesforce development pipeline in which several developers are making changes and deploying them via gearset. Right now it seems cumbersome/duplicative to do this particularly around the area of adding a sandbox org and then managing permissions of the developers to that sandbox. It would be nice if there was a way for one admin to connect the sandbox, grant the other admin "Owner-level" access to it, and for the two admins to have a shared view of the user access to that org, so I can…
