Users with access to same target org
2 users both have access to the same target org with different user accounts. User A creates a package and asks User B to deploy the package on their behalf. Unless User B has been delegated access to the same org they already have access to by User A's account then User B will be unable deploy the change as they receive the error
"To deploy you need deployment level permissions from the owner of the target"
Workaround to this security constraint was to download a copy of the package and deploy using Workbench.

Account owner should be able to delete templates created by others
If a team member is removed from Gearset team, any template or previous activity can not be removed by anyone else. Leaving some clutter behind. It would be good to have the Owner of the Gearset account/team to have a super admin level access to all templates/data created by other team members so clean up could be managed....

Add an option to share orgs by default
Where we have a developer-manager, and a team of developers, it would be useful to be able to have a default for sharing org-connections where the manager always has access to their team's orgs.
At the moment, we have to share each org one-by-one.
This has caught us out where a dev team member validated a deployment, then went on holiday thinking that we could deploy it for them. They forgot to share the org-access, so we had to recreate the deployment to get it done.

Allow bulk org access for new users, new org permissions upon adding
When adding a new user having the ability to give the same level of access to all orgs at once would be greatly beneficial.
Likewise, when adding a new org and having the ability to set user access to the new org would save time as well.
We are adding new orgs frequently and will be adding users as well. Saving time on permissions would be great!

Manage Orgs Re-authorization returns you to a default sorted list.
I refreshed a sandbox. I need to re-auth my orgs. I go to Manage Orgs, and sort by my friendly name. I click re-auth, and OAuth is successful and the app tells me I did a good job. But the page it returns me to is using a different sort then I left the page with. ie, it sorts the list by username again. Just extra button clicking I'd like to get rid of if possible. I have to re-auth orgs all the time.

I would like to download a CSV file from any stage in the Pipeline that includes all the PR details.
I wanted to know the PR's that are pending between the pipeline environments, so I copied the screen data into a spreadsheet and had to spend time to make it usable. I used the information to understand the outstanding work by team (we follow naming conventions for our work), identify stranded stories from departed developers, and have a deeper understand into the backlog. I am using the information to talk to the pod leaders discussing process improvements, release timing/scheduling, and other operational improvements.

view only user
A free "View Only" user role
We have setup notifications on changes for specific use cases - eg. all changes to custom fields only.
We have configured these to send to Slack and Teams channels - but detailed information has to be surfaced in Gearset.
We would like to give "view" access to many users for the comparison result in the notification, and no other permissions. This should not encroach on the licenced user count.1 vote -
ability to clone the 'Deployment Pipeline' and edit the connections as per new project requirement
Every time a new project is kicked off , we need to setup the same pipeline with different org and bitbucket connection, gearset should have ability to clone the complete deployment pipeline so that only connections or branches needs to be updated for quick setup. Also some time the owner of the Deployment pipeline needs to be changed so this feature will give ability to clone the pipeline and disable the old pipeline.

Gearset Pipelines Sandbox Environment
In order to test new Jira webhooks, GitHub actions, and any other release management changes,
We would like a Gearset sandbox environment where we could test release management changes like new/updates to Jira webhooks, GitHub actions, and other related changes.

Share org connections or CI jobs with sub-teams
As an SI, we use Gearset for release management with multiple clients. Each client has multiple environments and CI jobs, but not everyone on my team works with every client. Currently, I can either share an org connection or CI job with all members of my team (providing access to people who should not have it) or I can share it individually with each person working with the client (which can sometimes be up to 10 people). It would be useful to define a group that holds the people who work on the client account and then share org connections…

having a Release Manager role within a Gearset team
I want the ability to set specific users as release managers and only these users can deploy to a production org. Only this role should be able to create a direct authentication to production. Other roles should be blocked to create a direct authentication to production or blocked from selecting production as a target org.

Export and Import Gearset metadata filters to other Gearset instances
This idea feels relevant to Gearset customers that are consultants or in professional services teams.
Our team will be managing multiple instances of Gearset for various clients. During the initial setup and also over the long term maintenance of those instances, it would be ideal to standardize the custom metadata filters being used. The base filters would be the same starting point for all instances, because of the references to namespaces and certain metadata types involved in our projects.
Currently, the filters will need to be part of the post-instance setup steps. It would be ideal to be able to…

Show the name of the draft I am working on
Would be nice to see the name of the draft I'm working on while I'm working on it. Oftentimes working on multiple things at once, this can get really confusing.

Rename drafts after they're created
It would be really nice to be able to rename drafts after they've been created. Sometimes users will name things differently, and it would be nice to be able to clean this up.

Show Read Only Source control Settings to Members
Would be good to see the current settings of Source control for Members in read only mode.
Currently what greats us is just a text message:
"Only team owners can change these settings."1 vote -
to give an option to take a backup of Filter's data.
As an admin, I share my deployment filter with developers to add new item to filter. As many team members are working on the release , there is a possibility of jeopardizing the filter's data. I wanted to take a back up of the filter's items periodically. How can i do this?

Provide controls around who can create/manage Salesforce Connections
I have a team of multiple admins that use GearSet and I want to fully control who can deploy where. I can set this up with security today in GearSet by what kind of access I grant. However a user can create their own connection using their credentials and get around the shared connections I have established. I would like the ability to disable a users ability to create new connections which would then only allow them to use pre-existing connections that I have established appropriate security for.

Allow editing Orgs created by other users
If there is a Gearset user who adds a bunch of orgs, and then quits-- and then a password change is needed for those orgs (or even something simple, such as a nickname change-- it is impossible for another Gearset user to edit the previous Org.
A workaround is possible to remove the previous Org and add a new Org, but this could lead to lost comparison history, something that many businesses (mine included) care a lot about.
Can access to edit Orgs created by other users be added?

Support grouping of Manage Orgs page
Support the ability to group org credentials on the Manage Orgs page by a new Group Name attribute. In managing multiple clients with dozens of PRD and Sandbox orgs it would be extremely helpful to be able to group and filter related credentials by client. However, to expand this feature to support multiple use cases, providing a new Group Name attribute (text) which could contain any value would be fantastic!
Thanks for your consideration,
