Allow more than one instance of Jira to be connected to.
It would be great to have the capability to connect to more than one instance of Jira. We are switching to a different instance and we have to delete and recreated the Jira connections each time we switch instances.

Allow account admins to run reports on their team's usage of Gearset.
I am managing a Gearset account and I need to be able to know who is using Gearset and who isn't so I can more properly assign licenses.
This might be an Enterprise feature, https://app.gearset.com/account/account-report, but really should just be something an account admin can run.

Automate Salesforce org connection on sandbox refresh
When we refresh our sandbox orgs, we have to reconnect the gearset user, would it be possible to use JWT to auto connect to the org?

Search on comparison doesn't search though object child items
When searching on the comparison results screen the child items of an object are not part the search unless you expand the object.
If you expand and then collapse the object tree child items do then appear in the filter search. It appears to be just on initial loading that it doesn't work.

Clone Problem Analyzer Templates
With CI jobs, you may need to refine over time your Problem Analyzer templates
However, there is no clone button and you have to carefully set up the new template (as edit-in-place is not supported when the template is already assigned to a CI job - at least that is what the in-app guidance tells you)
So --
a) Allow Clone from page app.gearset.com/problem-analyzer-templates
b) Allow an easy way to assign the new template to all CI jobs without having to do each 1 x 12 votes -
Make Gearset more responsive via web design
Currently when doing deployments I have realized when i migrate to a smaller screen that gearset isn't super responsive and sometimes i have to drag it back to my larger monitor. This was really highlighted when I was attempting to deploy some metadata from my phone (mac was updating).
Please make gearset more responsive so I can deploy from my phone.3 votes -

Pull Request From Deployment History
Making a pull request via Gearset is only available from the Compare & Deploy Flow.
I'd the link to make a pull request available from deployment history so that users can make the pull request to the various Git/Salesforce environments.
Currently, I am telling my users to note the deployment id for their comparison and hit the link. This appears to work, but isn't user friendly.

Show me where the Salesforce Release Changes are in the metadata files.
As a gearset user, I want a guide to the location of metadata components created by Salesforce in each new release so that I don't have to guess and look for the metadata 3 times per year when Salesforce publishes changes to their platform.
Please user your business relationships with product owners at Salesforce to submit this story idea on behalf of clients everywhere.
For example, today I was looking for metadata, if any, created by enabling permission set expiration dates in my sandbox. This won't be availabe in production until release on 10/7 but I was curious if I…1 vote -
I would like to be able to deploy directly from environment variables.
This feature would allow me to setup each sandbox environment after doing a refresh from production.

enable UTAM
In the same way you enable Jest tests to run during deployment like that:
https://docs.gearset.com/en/articles/5204895-pilot-feature-source-control-setup-for-lwc-test-runs
We would need to run UTAM tests:
https://utam.dev/guide/introductionThose are stored in utam folder and as sucha re not deployed to Salesforce org but rather "ran" by the test system.
UTAM is very similar to Jest but do a simulated browser test (including integrated services and login of users) that covers full scenario and several pages. It's possible by using Chromedriver through WebdriverIO. All these are nodejs libraries used by UTAM.1 vote -
Ability to accept/disregard repo cleaner changes
I would like the repo cleaner to work more like the problem analyser, offering a chance to accept or disregard the suggestions before executing it.
Currently Repo Cleaner can only be enabled/disabled only at team level settings, thereby forcing the setting team-wide, which effectively rolls onto all the projects/repos using Gearset for deployments.
I have come across a situation where I would not like to alter the repo with changes any more than what I have actually changed, but since its a team-wide setting the repo cleaner was getting triggered in and bringing in more changes to my repo than…

Allow Owner role to enable delegated org access of other users
If another user doesn't already have delegated access granted and their is a deployment with an issue there is no way for someone else to rollback the deployment and no way to override it.

Show Formula Comparisons line by line
When comparing formulas (in validations, formula fields, workflow criteria...) the comparison should be done line by line.
Considering the whole formula a block and only showing that "something" has changed in the formula is not useful when looking for conflicts between environments.
When pushing changes between environments, admins are checking to make sure they are not overwriting other changes with their update. They most probably know the formula has changed (that was their job) but they need to ensure no unwanted changes are added/deleted from the target environment.
In long formulas with many lines (potentially >100) it's not easy to…

Show expired orgs in list of salesforce orgs
When checking my list of salesforce orgs it would be good to see that the listed orgs have valid tokens and if they don't have valid tokens either checked on the fly/daily etc or just from previous automation attemps/backup attempts this would really help when you have access to many sandbox orgs on your user account.

Support Filter by Status from Monitoring History
I occasionally need to review the Monitoring History for a particular org over a period of more than a few days (eg. Last 30 Days or more). I'm only interested in reviewing entries where the Status = "Different" so I can quickly ignore those that are "Identical". This would be a good place for a column filter like those that you support on the Compare & Deploy page.
It would also be nice to have the ability to filter on other columns (eg. Changed, New, Deleted, etc.) like only those entries where New components were added.
Thanks in advance!

Page layout comparison in Same Org
It would be so valuable and help immensely with tech debt to be able to compare page layouts and lightning page layouts within an org to see what the differences are.

Support deployment of password and session policies via Gearset
According to the Salesforce developer link https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=000349181&type=1
Password and Session policies include a numeric code which is equal to a epoc timestamp. This timestamp will be different in each org. In order for deployment to succeed, the timestamp code in the metadata name must match the target org. Since all orgs are different, there isn't an automatic way to do this.
Please create a feature in gearset that will automatically replace the timestamp numeric code with that of the target org so that we can use gearset to deploy password and sessions policies.
